Philip Mathews, Director of Sales
Philip has been in the recruitment industry for over 25 years specializing in finding top talent in sales and sales management for his national clients in the medical/dental, payroll services, and B2B environment.
Upon graduation from Hofstra University with a degree in Business, Philip joined Allstate Insurance as an operational manager. After about a year with Allstate Philip walked in to a sales recruitment firm looking for a medical sales job and was offered a position with the recruitment firm. Realizing that he had the skills to double his income in the recruiting business, Philip found his calling.
Being an entrepreneur Philip decided to take an ownership position in a recruiting firm, and ultimately started up his own firm. After 24 years of successfully recruiting for clients, Philip sold his firm to a budding employee.
After being out of the business for a couple of years and missing the client and candidate contact, Philip decided to go back into recruiting.
Someone asked Philip why he was going back into the business. His answer was "It is what I do."
During his career Philip has helped numerous candidates begin their own careers as well as others who have grown with their companies and are now in various levels of management. Several of Philip’s candidates have grown into C-level and President roles at major corporations.
Philip lives on Long Island with his wife Marilyn. They have 3 sons. He enjoys playing modified fast pitch softball as well as skiing, reading, music and following the financial markets.
