Steve Bornschein, Senior Recruiter – Accounting and Finance
Steve brings a wealth of full-cycle recruiting experience to Executive Alliance. While specializing in all levels of financial positions, he's had success placing other types of professionals such as Sales Director, Property Manager and Executive Admin.
After graduating with a degree in English from the University of Virginia, Steve accepted a position at a Manhattan search firm. Twenty years of dedicated service later, he rose to Vice President of Linwood Consultants, where his input and personal production was critical to the firm's doubling in both headcount and revenue during his tenure. While servicing clients of all industries and sizes, he also assumed leadership roles in the development of the firm's website, applicant tracking system and company literature.
Steve receives great satisfaction in bringing together two parties that would benefit mutually over the course of a career. "I can't think of a better feeling a recruiter can experience than being asked to conduct a search for a client that was placed years earlier in a staff role."
A lifetime New Yorker, Steve lives in St. James with his wife of twenty years and two teenage daughters.
