ABOUT US
Susan Burden
Vice President
With a career in Human Resources Management at HHL Financial Services, Susan Burden was introduced to Hiring Collection Management back in the 1988. She handled all generalist functions at HHL Financial Services, enjoying all aspects. Her career took a slight turn when she became the Benefits Coordinator at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
“This was not the career path that I thought I would have taken considering my studies in Music Education at West Chester University in Pennsylvania”. Susan was a Piano major, with hopes and dreams to come back to Long Island and teach an Elementary Music program.
After starting a family and working part time in Medical offices doing billing, collections and internet sales management, Susan found a home with Executive Alliance where she is now the Vice President. She attends many of the industry conferences and has written articles pertaining to collections and recruiting.
Susan lives in Huntington with her husband and son.

Last year, I was one of Susan Burden's candidates for a Sales position with a collection law firm. Though the company eventually eliminated me from its search, I was genuinely impressed with Ms. Burden's professionalism throughout the process. She is upbeat, intelligent and is a remarkable listener. She was a pleasure to speak to and I always learned something in our conversations.
In fact, her coaching was not only inspirational, but it prepared me for my unexpected involvement in a successive (and ultimately successful) job search that occurred immediately after my experience with the collection law firm. Specifically, her input allowed me to gain a fresh perspective regarding how my professional skills and experiences could be presented as both distinguishing and attractive features to a prospective employer.
In short, Ms. Burden "gets" the core of any successful client relationship and I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude to you personally.
Thank you and may 2008 bring you the best in health, happiness and harmony.
