We are looking to add a Sales Director to join our sales team. The positions will focus on expanding services to our current client base, as well as adding new logos. Key market includes the Midwest MO, NE, Iowa, KS, OK & Arkansas.

This strategically important role is responsible for revenue generation and new business development activities accomplished through a combination of outbound calls and on-site visits to prospective and current clients. An absolute must is the ability to establish and build solid relationships, and provide long-term HIM solutions. Previous consultative selling experience.

Additional activities include:

 

  • Daily planning, networking, sourcing, cold calling, client visits and related follow-up activities to customers in designated segments or target lists within the health care industry.   Main focus is on acute care facilities, critical access hospitals and/or large physician practices.
  • Sell new logos and upsell current clients.
  • Continually network through existing contacts, associations, organizations, publications, trade shows, social media or other known industry sources.
  • Leverage existing relationships and continuously expand network targeting HIM or Revenue Cycle senior leaders. Build relationships with current clients, up to the Executive level, through the delivery of exceptional service characterized by mutual respect, understanding and trust.  
  • Effectively listen to client needs, analyze existing and anticipated requirements and provide solutions through the consideration of company services.  
  • Identify needs, and secure job orders for our client’s Health Information Management (H.I.M) staffing and project consulting needs.
  • Fully utilize sales management software for monitoring sales activities and to ensure goals and targets are met.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans. Understand region and/or account nuances and needs.
  • Conduct sales presentations individually or jointly with service line content experts.  

 


Requirement Note

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in new and existing client development activities. Activities include but are not limited to: Sourcing, cold calling, qualifying initial clients, identifying potential end users/decision makers, establishing contact relationships, completing company/department profiles and organizational charts, marketing candidates, identifying national/third party/vendor on premise opportunities, scheduling and conducting new and follow-up client visits.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop value-driven presentations for use during the client visit.
  • Conduct market research and qualify/classify target accounts within assigned geography. Keep current of market dynamics and trends within specific market and region and forecast client demands.
  • Set client expectations and effectively communicate to appropriate parties. Advise client on staffing solutions.
  • Facilitate development of professional service agreements (including negotiation of terms when necessary) between our client and their clients.
  • Determine and implement appropriate marketing techniques for market, industry, and region. Promote our client's services through participation in professional associations, trade shows, and other public relations opportunities.  

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree or advanced formal training within the field plus at least 5 years selling experience, within the health care space, preferably Health Information Management or Revenue Cycle services.
