Brief Description

Our client is a national provider of receivables management services to hospitals and hospital systems, physician practices, municipal courts systems and utilities.

We are looking to identify an experienced insurance follow up specialist or supervisor who will be responsible for the following duties.



The Insurance Recovery Supervisor is responsible for following up on insurance claims and resolving claims in a timely manner while updating the client’s medical accounts working with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and GUI.    

 

Job Duties: Essential Functions:
 
•Answering inbound phone inquiries and forwarding to appropriate department or employee.
•Effectively communicating with other employees in regards client specific needs and inquiries.
•Appropriately coding accounts based on the matter and department.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality of all consumer information.
•Actively participate in continuous training through our clients training program.
•Effective communication through verbal and written format with all members of departments.


Requirement Note

Requirements:

•Ability to multi-task

•Computer knowledge

•Microsoft Office knowledge

•Accurate data input

•Abide to all company policies and confidentiality regulations

•Knowledge of medical terminology

•Previous experience working with health insurance companies

•Understanding of insurance benefits, timely filing and coordination of benefits

•Prior experience with Navinet and Emdeon preferred

•Call Center/Collection experience, a plus

•Ability to navigate through various systems while on the phone
