Brief Description

To obtain payments, set up payment plans, and thoroughly handle all collections accounts for the purpose of obtaining owed revenue for our clients.

Essential functions:

Computer proficiency in various programs such as Microsoft: Excel and Outlook.
Ability to multi-task, navigate through various screens and programs and copy/paste.
Effectively work independently and ability to follow directions with minor supervision.
Capability to remember work related processes and procedures.
Able to type 30WPM or faster.
Comfortable with sitting 35 hours per week.
Maintain confidential information and handle according to HIPAA guidelines.
Capability of typing and inputting numeric and alpha data with 100% accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all consumer information.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Actively participate in continuous training through Arcadia Academy.
Effective communication through verbal and written format with all members of departments.

This position is responsible for handling a high volume of inbound/outbound calls while maintaining and updating clients’ accounts working with Microsoft Outlook, AS400 and Microsoft Excel.    Other databases may also be used.

Applicants must be driven to succeed and self-motivated in order to obtain set collection goals.    Applicants must have exceptional communication skills and be able to maintain a professional attitude while working under pressure.    Applicants should possess a high level of time management skills and have the ability to multi-task to ensure efficiency in processing all accounts.    Applicants should be detail-orientated in order to review accounts for accuracy and ensure proper payment postings.

Collections Representatives are responsible for updating client accounts, ensuring proper payments are taken, and correctly coding all contact with the client.    Collections Representatives are also responsible for processing a number of accounts per day while strictly following FDCPA and HIPAA laws and regulations.

Regular hours vary between 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday.

This is a non-exempt hourly position and a monthly bonus is possible based upon collections.

This is a seated position requiring constant use of computer and digital phone, and uses constant typing while talking.
