Our client is one of the world’s leading distributors of technical training and curriculum. They are seeking a Territory Manager to help pursue opportunities for their solutions throughout Mid-Atlantic region. We seek a strong leader with a competitive spirit. Knowledge of educational technology and hardware sales is a plus. This is a highly visible “key” position offering an aggressive commission structure, paid health insurance and a car allowance!

 

Job Description

Responsible for the sale of educational technology into the K-12 and Higher Education markets.

• Drive new business development growth.

Actively engage in business development activities, including attending tradeshows, sales meetings and workshops.

Achieve defined sales objectives.

Ensure customer satisfaction with responsive account management.

Must have a strong electrical, mechanical, or engineering background.

 


Requirement Note

 

  • 3-5 years sales experience within educational technology and educational hardware, selling to K-12 and Higher Ed markets in the assigned region.
  • Capable of building relationships with key decision makers in the target markets.
  • Be self-motivated, with a competitive spirit, a strong work ethic, and the capacity to drive sales by working independently or cooperatively.
  • Proven success in solution-based selling techniques.
  • Must have a strong record of achieving assigned quotas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, oral  communication  and presentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
