My client, a top provider of Disaster Restoration services, in the Raleigh NC area is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their organization.

The Construction Estimator/Account Manager is responsible for signing contracts and creating build back estimates in addition to working with insurance companies to finalize agreed upon price. Qualified candidates will provide a high level of customer satisfaction while ensuring that estimates are submitted in a timely manner. The Construction Estimator/Account Manager is also responsible for undertaking marketing activities which as a result will lead to more work from current sources as well as new sources.

 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Professionally represent the company’s Purpose and Core Values

  • Assess damages and write professional, well organized, thorough estimates

  • Assure client and insurance representative receive estimates within a timely fashion

  • Organize and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously

  • Maintain acceptable sales levels and profit margins

  • Work with Project Managers through completion of projects

  • Provide timely communications with coworkers, customers, insurance adjusters and agents

  • Responsible for overseeing quality of scopes and ensuring excellent customer service

 Work Environment:

Generally, work is performed at various job sites as necessary to supervise safety and quality of work being performed. Work in an office environment is required to complete paperwork. Activities which occur inside and outside are subject to:

  •  

  • Weather and temperature changes

  • Noise

  • Hazards such as; water, smoke, soot, moving vehicles, proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, high places, high heat and exposure to chemicals


Requirement Note

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience handling insurance claims in residential restoration

  • Experience with DASH software a PLUS!

  • Project management experience

  • Experience handling water, fire, smoke and natural disaster insurance claims

  • Experience writing insurance claim estimates through Xactimate and Symbility estimating software

  • Ability to lead and motivate others on a daily basis in a positive manner

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Works well in a team environment

  • Self-motivated

  • Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality and exceptional customer service

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

  • College degree preferred but not required
