Brief Description

A large, dynamic hospitality Group is seeking a Learning & Development Manager who will plan, implement and design divisional and departmental training programs which promote a culture of excellence in operations. As the LDM, your role will be to provide expert project management and collaboration with the company’s management teams to assess, develop and deliver all training initiatives.   

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate & lead training programs ensuring all employees receive required training and perform gap analysis to identify areas and opportunity for improvement.

  • Ensures effective performance that drives desired culture and result

  • Maintains and creates innovative user-friendly tools and development education for both managers and team members.

  • Edits & produces new instructional training materials

  • Ensure all training enrollments meet department directives

  • Writes and/or assists with scripts, reports related to training and/or business initiatives

  • Provide classroom lessons, self-paced assignments, hand-outs, job aids, training plans, analysis, quizzes and reporting

  • Identify measures of success and business impact and routinely communicates progress to HR leadership.

  • Collaborates with business unit stake holders to listen & analyze training needs and implement solutions

  • Oversee, develop, and lead training program(s) and team of trainers that take ownership of Team Member training and development and produce a high-performance team.

  • Cast a vision for training and bring the trainers and team to the next level.

  • Manage and maintain training tracking system and hold trainers accountable to updating as they train.

  • Identifies "career" talent and promotes and fosters the growth/development for progression in the Company.


Requirement Note

Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Trainer

  • Bachelors’ Degree in business, finance or relevant field from accredited college

  • Three to five years relevant experience in implementing organizational development intervention.

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Phenomenal communication, organizational and time management skills

  • Energize talent by intentionally influencing, building, and maintaining a compelling culture that produces high performance teams
