Brief Description

Expanding Restaurant Group is looking for an inspired, knowledgeable, and dedicated professionals to join our management team.

It is the primary responsibility of Managers to oversee the day to day operations of the outlet. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices and procedures

Specific Job Functions:

  • Help to manage weekly staff schedules to effectively control labor costs and optimize service standards.

  • Coach and train service team on policies and procedures and hold staff accountable.

  • Supervise floor service in dining room during hours of operation.

  • Responsible for reservation and table management as well as any special guest needs.

  • Directly communicate with the General Manager / Owners / Executive Chef on all food service and menu issues.

  • Effectively communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.

  • Responsible for nightly closing reports.

  • Responsible for beverage ordering, inventory, and costs levels.

  • Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation.

  • Understand and manage Profit & Loss statements, general business practices of restaurant operation.

  • Maintain par levels and direct purchase of china, glass and silverware.

  • Utilizes programs to maximize sales and profits, manage labor and control costs.

  • Responsible for adhering to daily and weekly management checklists and overseeing service teams’ checklists.

  • Adhere to restaurant sanitation and maintenance policies and procedures as well as all Health Department codes and regulations.

  • Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations.

  • Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency - personal supervision of guest complaints.

  • Work as a team member, assisting guests' and employees' needs and inquiries.


Requirement Note

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have at least three years of service management experience in a similar dining environment

  • Formal education with a degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent knowledge of beverage and wine service

  • Professional knowledge of kitchen operations

  • Must have a working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations

  • Excellent knowledge of all food and beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform these duties
