Our client is currently looking for a talented Benefits Specialist to join the Human Resource team.  They offer a competitive compensation and benefits package with 401k and more!


The Benefits Leave Administration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all state/federal leave laws in coordination with related company leave policies.   Advises Employee and their Manager on leave options, rights and responsibilities, benefits and compensation, and required communication while on leave.   Provides client support/education to ensure adherence to established benefit plans, company policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws related to leaves, unemployment and benefits administration.

• Expert knowledge of FMLA and ADA laws and practices
• HR Expertise, strong communication skills, collaborative relationship management approach
• Excellent analytical and research skills with an attention to detail
• Resourceful with exceptional problem solving and decision making skills with a flair for process improvement and innovation
• Self starter with a strong results orientation
• Tact, superior communication skills, ability to work effectively with co-workers and management
• Strong organizational skills and follow through with commitments and deadlines
• Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations


• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
• One (1) to three (3) years relevant full time professional work experience in Human Resources and/or benefits or leave administration
• Knowledge of Human Resources policy, procedure, and administration required
• Experience with Ultimate or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), a plus
