Our client is an 8 year old, nationally-licensed Account Receivables Management firm with an impeccable reputation is seeking an ED Collections Manager. The company is committed to its employees servicing the student loan industry. The company is recognized as a preferred employer in Oregon and they’re a current vendor for the Department of Education servicing their defaulted student loan portfolio.


Summary:  The Collection Manager will be part of a dynamic and experienced management team. The company is experiencing triple digit growth, truly a ground floor opportunity. The successful candidate(s) must have a record of accomplishment and demonstrate the ability to sustain a successful positive environment. You must be able to detail your ability to work in a collaborative environment. Must provide examples of how you effectively coach, develop and retain staff.

Requirement Note



  • Ability to relocate to Southern Oregon, relocation assistance is available
  • 3-5 years’ experience on the US Department of Education Contract
  • College degree is preferred     
  • DMCS and Artiva experience is an asset
  • Must maintain a zero-error compliance approach, must have a background of working in a highly compliant environment
  • Must have effective written and oral communication skills representative of a Collections Manager
  • Bilingual is a major asset
  • Must be able to collect defaulted student loans, show a willingness to assist the collection staff through a proactive approach
  • Must have Microsoft product knowledge, Excel is necessary
  • Must have extensive knowledge and understanding of the US Department of Education’s policies and procedures
  • Must have measurable student loan collections experience
  • References necessary
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the industry rules and regulations
  • Must have a positive attitude
