Brief Description

Well-established, highly accredited and multi-site Physical Therapy practice is seeking a Business Development Manager to help develop new business relationships. The Business Development Manager represents and promotes practice to establish and maintain long-term relationships with local doctors such as Orthopedist's, Podiatrist's, Spine Specialist's, local businesses and other referral sources. Must have current, established relationships with these type of physicians in the Northern NJ area.  

 



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and promote services to new potential clients & referral sources in the local market
• Establish and maintain long-term collaborations with local doctors such as Orthopedist's, Podiatrist's, Spine Specialist's, local businesses and other referral sources.
• Introduce PT practice and help grow relationships with existing clients, local businesses, doctors and healthcare professionals.
• Take ownership of local marketing plan and territory
• Work with marketing team to create new business strategies
• Actively build presence in the community through identification, coordination and participation in local events and sponsorship's
• Support social media efforts by providing content for channels
• Actively participate in local networking groups and town organizations
• Identify potential referral sources and conduct face to face meetings with providers and staff members to develop relationships and increase referral base
• Help to research/plan marketing events (client lunches/dinners, sporting events, community outreach, etc.)
• Communicate and present the value of the practice services  


Requirement Note

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience marketing Physical Therapy rehabilitation services to physician's
• Ability to establish, grow and maintain consistent sales pipeline of prospects along with territory management.
• Must be reliable, highly-motivated, well-organized, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills;  excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal).
• Previous experience (3+ years) in business development/marketing physical therapy practice
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
