Our client is the US division of a well-respected multi-national company in precision instrumentation and imaging in Western Suffolk County.  With 250 employees at this location and 400 in the Americas, Human Resources professionals are hands-on in providing the full range of service and solutions.

Focus for this role will be on performance management, recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy and strategy. The role will also manage payroll, compliance and reporting. Reports to Head of HR for Americas and manages one HR Generalist.

We seek a well-rounded HRBP or HR Manager from a mid-sized organization accustomed to handling the full range of HR matters for all classes of employees. The successful candidate will be a quick study, well versed in most of the above areas of HR, and willing to learn and flex as needed. They must be attuned to various management styles, working with and through others, and learning the culture to implement change and process improvement. 

Ideally, candidates will have 7-12 years’ experience with demonstrated successes  and career progression. An undergraduate degree is necessary (advanced degrees a plus), SPHR or other HR certifications a plus.
