Brief Description

Our client, a consumer receivables management company is currently in hyper-growth mode and seeking an experienced trainer. The Trainer participates in and conducts company training programs, provides classroom instruction to trainees and monitors associates on the production floor. Will assist in periodically reviewing the training curriculum and provide suggested enhancements to its content and or delivery of the materials being used. Responsible for the successful completion of training and verifies readiness to utilize curriculum in production environment.



  • Instructs and supervises training classes of agents and supervisors
  • Organize, direct, and monitor daily activities of classroom and/or production environment
  • Create and implement strategy to ensure training objectives are met
  • Monitor and review individual and class performance
  • Train, motivate, and develop, trainees to success
  • Field questions from team and clients
  • Provide coaching and development feedback
  • Motivates and encourages trainees and associate agents
  • Ensure all client compliance requirements are met.
  • Provides feedback on implementation and success of training techniques
  • Designs, builds and implements new training strategies
  • Communicates with clients regarding performance, issues and/or concerns
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Issues corrective action/termination as necessary
  • Responds to and works to resolve trainee concerns in a timely manner
  • Prepare reports as needed
  • Motivates staff and maintains a team atmosphere

Requirement Note


  • 3+ years’ experience as a trainer within 1st or 3rd party consumer collections (credit cards, loans, auto, Department of Education, etc.)
  • Experience creating and implementing collections training materials, processes, and curriculum
  • Strong knowledge of FDCPA and CFPB regulations
  • Top presentation and written communication skills
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications
  • Capable of prioritizing and organizing work efficiently
  • Works effectively under pressure and can meet time deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills
