Brief Description

Drive Collections performance for a top 10 Credit Card issuer.  Responsible for working directly with several agencies that handle pre-charge-off Collections.  Responsibilities also include using analysis and observations to recommend strategy and process improvements to enhance and evolve our business. 

Job Functions:

  • Drive performance while overseeing a handful of collection agencies
  • Work closely with agency vendor leadership working pre-charged off accounts for the most cost-efficient results within established policies and procedures.
  • Analysis of reports to identify trends and provide direction to vendors for appropriate enhancements to call strategies.
  • Ability to work independently based on general direction.
  • Understand the credit card market and continue to evolve our model as the industry and consumer demand changes.
  • Meets customer experience and compliance standards through use of monitoring process of agencies.
  • Provides coaching and feedback of results to internal and vendor management teams.
  • Professional interactions across all departments within the organization to ensure proper implementation of policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrates an ongoing comprehensive working knowledge of first party regulations governing the collections industry.
  • Develops staff assignments using positive feedback and coaching techniques.  

Requirement Note


  • 3+ years of management experience (collections or credit card preferred)
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work and evolve our business with limited oversight
  • Experience managing agency relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word (Tableau preferred)
