Brief Description

My client, a Florida based, state-wide, disaster restoration firm, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the organizations building operations, fleet services and purchasing efforts.

Responsible for planning, directing and overseeing building operations and vehicle fleet services. You will also be responsible for reviewing all vendors, subcontractors, supplies, materials, equipment, vehicles and other purchases on behalf of the organization. He or she is responsible for ensuring that all purchasing decisions are made after careful financial and cost/benefit analysis.

         Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop and implement cost-saving initiatives within the purchasing process.
  • Review and approve all product vendors with a focus on quality and value.
  • Negotiate the best terms of purchase including price, quality, delivery, stock availability and service.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships and ensure that all services and goods provided meet organizational standards for quality.
  • Manage warehouse facilities across the state.
  • Assist in development and implementation of CAT plan for response to insurance company clients.
  •  Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response efforts. Ensure building compliance to all appropriate requirements.
  • Oversee building utilities and services and ensure regular quality checks.
  • Should be familiar with construction management, basic budgeting methods, cost/benefit analysis and inventory management.
  • Responsible for supply inventory ordering and reviewing invoices for approval
  • Responsible for fleet maintenance scheduling, fuel service monitoring and other vehicle needs.
  • Perform all other activities and responsibilities as defined by upper management.

Requirement Note


  • Two year degree in related field desired, four year degree preferred.

  • Experience in insurance/disaster restoration strongly preferred

  • Must have Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Minimum 5 years related experience.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills required.

  • Dependable and trustworthy.

  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.

  • Negotiate contracts, plans and schedules with third party service providers.

  • Works effectively under pressure and deadlines, with an ability to balance and manage supply risk.

  • Clean and Valid Florida driver’s license required.

  • Applicants will be required to pass a drug test
