Brief Description

An exciting and fast growing logistics company, that has been profiled on CNBC, is looking for a Industrial Engineer I who will initiate and oversee a company wide time-study project at their Louisville facility. The Engineer will analyze current work processes and direct time-and-motion studies to establish current standards and identify and promote standards which will maximize utilization of personnel and facilities. The goal is to to define work standards for all warehouse shipping, receiving and packaging activities to safely ensure cost effective delivery of the right product, packed correctly within required time. Upon completion of the project in one facility it will be replicated company wide.

  • Direct time-and-motion studies to establish standards by which to set expectations and evaluate productivity
  • Define work standards for all warehouse shipping, receiving and packaging activities
  • Use data to prepare financial forecasts
  • Train and communicate company expectations and standards that every customer should receive the right product, packed correctly  within the required time  


Requirement Note
  • BS  degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years engineering experience in a 3PL, retail warehouse or other light goods warehouse environment
  • Experience conducting time / motion studies required
  • LEAN certification / experience a big plus
  • Ability to travel as required up to 30%
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and evolving high growth environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
