Executive Alliance is pleased to represent a client that is looking for a seasoned Accounting Manager with staff supervisory experience to join their accounting team. This position will be a hybrid role requiring 3 to 4 days to work in their office in the bay area. The Accounting Manager will be an essential part of an accounting team that services individuals and small businesses.

Job Description:

Salary : $100000 - $150000

  • Supervise and mentor an accounting department of 6.
  • Train team members on proper accounting procedures as needed.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Prepare Financial statements, account analysis, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forcasting.
  • Manage monthly financial, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support management with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide accurate and timely close process including various general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Ensures compliance to GAAP and other Federal, State, and local policies.

Job Requirements:

  • B.S degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years accounting experience.
  • 2+ years in a senior accounting or supervisory role in a small team of accountants in a small to midsize business environment.
  • Sound knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
