Our Client is a large, professionally recognized engineering firm. They are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team of top professionals on Long Island.

Job Description:

Looking for an efficient, energetic, and self-driven Civil/Site Assistant Project Manager with a minimum of 6 years' experience in Residential/Commercial/Retail Site Design to support a growing Firm. Candidates will have the ability to take ownership/control of your own career path, be completely involved in high level/high exposure projects, and work with an experienced Design Support Team. Company supports a flexible work environment to allow staff to stay healthy, fulfill goals and grow within their organization.   

Job Requirements:

  • Complete understanding of Long Island Land Development for private clients.
  • Proficient in Conceptual Planning and Grading and Drainage Design.
  • Experience with working on several projects at the same time.
  • Strong Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D is A+
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide direction to Staff.
  • Willingness to provide/assist in the training of Design Engineering Staff as needed.
  • Responsible for staying ahead of clients and being proactive.  
  • Responsible for various entitlements associated with Site Development Projects.  
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems and to use resources when needed.  
  • Experience/Understanding of Project Proposals and Addendums.  
  • Ability to review design plans from Design Engineering staff and provide constructive feedback as required.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).  
  • New York State PE/ EIT license preferred.
