They are seeking an Associate Copywriter to join their team to manage content development projects with their clients in the areas of social, digital, offline and traditional advertising channels.
NOTE: This role is a hybrid opportunity, with Mondays and Fridays being remote and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the company's state-of-the-art headquarters.
Only candidates that are accessible to Western Long Island, N.Y. will be considered.
Overview
Our client is looking for a talented copywriter to join their agency team and help them create bold, strategic, and persuasive messages across all digital and traditional media for our clients. We specialize in three key verticals: healthcare, financial services, and higher education.
Responsibilities:
- Conceives and executes advertising that delivers against the strategic brief
- Develops original concepts
- Works with Senior Content Strategist to foster innovative solutions
- Develops communications that are clear, concise, convincing, and accurate both grammatically and materially
- Writes all forms of short and long copy and for all types of media, with a heavy emphasis on paid digital tactics – e.g., paid social and search, banner ads
- Develops and executes messaging strategy – primary, secondary, tertiary – for all content
- Executes across multiple client assignments and content priorities
- Sees work through to its production
- Collaborates with art directors
- Complies with quality standards of the agency
- Builds relationships at the appropriate client level
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Talent, intelligence, and imagination to create ideas and words for advertising—both traditional and digital
- Two - three years’ experience as a copywriter
- Experience in at least one of our key verticals as described above
- Experience developing website content (beyond blogs)
- Agency experience greatly preferred
- Decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and creatively
- Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments at one time
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Keen eye for detail
- Bachelor’s degree
- Team player
