They are seeking a Director, Channel Partner Marketing  with experience developing and leading partner marketing programs across current and emerging mid-market segments.

 

NOTE: This is hybrid opportunity, remote with 2 days presence at the company's North American HQ in lower Manhattan, New York, N.Y.  Only prospects accessible to the greater New York metropolitan area will be considered.

 

The ideal leader will be integral to the development of the company's trusted partner ecosystem, marketing creative, channel-specific strategies and programs that increase brand awareness and expand market reach.

 

You’ll be responsible for managing partner marketing efforts to help drive pipeline acceleration, align partner/channel sales and marketing goals, and ensure revenue and margin targets are met through effective management of timelines, resources, and processes.

 

You’ll also develop and leverage relationships with customers, partners, sales and account managers, customer service, and the marketing team in the development and execution of co-marketing activities including, sponsorship of trade shows, partner events, webinars and other marketing communication strategies to generate leads, both with and through partners.

 

You should demonstrate extensive knowledge of channel partner marketing strategies and have experience in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field. This position requires regular collaboration with sales, marketing, channel and operations peers to understand priorities, target accounts, pipeline coverage and top partners.



Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist partners with the execution of marketing campaign assets and program as needed with the goal of making partners self-sufficient in executing a marketing strategy.
  • Lead joint-marketing activities with key partners, including VARs, MSPs, Master Agents, Sub-Agents.
  • Guide the partners through email campaign assets, and help them co-brand with their own unique and engaging content to increase brand awareness for the company's security services
  • Oversee development of marketing material for channel promotions and product launches across channels.
  • Work with the leadership team to simplify the company's Channel Program and incentives with a goal to create a trusted ecosystem that is easier for partners to understand and increases the overall effectiveness of the channel program.
  • Win partner mindshare through promos, contests, and other gamification-based practices.
  • Build new and improve existing processes and practices around channel marketing.
  • Manage the Americas Channel Marketing budget.
  • Track, measure and report the effectiveness of all channel marketing investments/activities.
  • Work closely with the Channel Sales team to identify opportunities for creative marketing strategies that will support both partner recruitment and partner growth.
  • Create partner development and marketing enablement initiatives that accelerate the partners’ ability to effectively position and sell the company's security solutions (campaign development and deployment, lunch and learns, webcasts, co-branded email campaigns, road shows, partner sales success stories, content, etc.).
  • Create and promote the adoption of the company's Security MSP/Channel partner certification program.
  • Work closely with channel leadership to develop a playbook for our Channel Managers.
  • Act as the Marketing “Subject Matter Expert” while coordinating efforts with channel partners, corporate marketing, channel sales, and other field and corporate teams.
  • Provide support for partner events and coordinate company resources as needed
  • Search out new channel partnership opportunities to help drive business growth.
  • Manage external relationships (vendors, venues, agencies, and media partners) as needed to secure new opportunities and investments.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3-4 years of experience as a channel marketing manager, partner business manager (PBM), or related field.  Experience in cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute strategic campaigns.
  • Experience using HubSpot and Salesforce.com to drive campaigns and report results.
  • Experience with a variety of demand generation approaches: digital, events, webinars, inbound, account-based marketing, etc.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, proactive and thoughtful with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop timelines and meet deadlines. Must be able to manage a full programs calendar for the region.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal team members and external vendors and prospects.
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and how to use varying concepts throughout forms of outreach.
  • Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing and implementing strategy.
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple activities at the same time.
  • Ability to develop and deliver cohesive event strategies.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Able to travel 20% or less of time (when appropriately safe to do so).
