Key Account Manager for an expanding logistics companyfor their brand new Levittown PA location.


Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking, detail-oriented person to join our team of Key Account Manager for our new Levittown PA location in our exciting, fast-growing eCommerce, luxury logistics company. The  Key Account Manager  supports one of the company's largest clients by learning the client's business, priorities and expectations and communicating with operations and the floor team to track orders, delivery status,   monitor trends, ensure client's specific requirements are met and look for opportunities to provide additional services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The  Key Account Manager  is the first line of contact with the decision makers in this major account
  • The  Key Account Manager  (KAM) will learn the account's business: their product line, customers, competitive advantages, challenges, shipping and packaging requirements etc
  • The KAM will develop relationships with all levels of the client organization, learn their priorities and the information needed by each contact
  • Conduct frequent audits and update the client
  • Communicate client needs with internal sales team and floor staff to track orders and ensure they are carried are carried out in a timely fashion according to the client's packaging and shipping requirements and branding preferences
  • Enter data into WMS as required
  • Identify and communicate any existing problems with internal team and learn what kinds of issues need to be escalated and brought to the attention of management
  • Use knowledge of the brand's strategic objectives to find opportunities to expand services and strengthen the business relationship


Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years direct account management experience
  • Retail or ecommerce experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of success solving challenging client demands
  • Strong communication skills; speaking, LISTENING, writing
  • A natural problem solver; a team player and a figure-it-out personality who displays calm and patience when problems do occur
