They have presence in New York, Florida and California.


They specialize in high-rise construction and major construction projects such as hotels/resorts, airports, commercial complexes, and stadiums and have managed safety on hundreds of new buildings, demolitions, exterior façade repairs, and a variety of other civil projects such as power plants, transit facilities, and hospitals.

They are seeking a Construction Safety Professional, MTA Track Safety with MTA experience in the New York City area.

They have presence in New York, Florida and California.


They specialize in high-rise construction and major construction projects such as hotels/resorts, airports, commercial complexes, and stadiums and have managed safety on hundreds of new buildings, demolitions, exterior façade repairs, and a variety of other civil projects such as power plants, transit facilities, and hospitals. In addition, their General Industry Department provides safety services to many different professional sectors.


They are seeking a Construction Safety Professional, MTA Track Safety with MTA experience in the New York City area.

NOTE: This full-time opportunity sits in New York, NY 5 days per week as it is a field-based role with regular visits to construction sites.   This is not a remote or hybrid role.




Job Requirements:

Requirements:


1. Must possess active MTA Track Safety Certification, C-3 or C-5 Refresher Supervisor / Competent Person Training for Deleading of Industrial Structures Certificate, an OSHA 30 in Construction and be familiar with Federal OSHA Standards;
2. Must have 5-7 Years of Field Experience (MTA safety experience preferred);
3. Must have Bachelor's Degree in safety or related field or more field experience to compensate (7-10 years);
4. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PPT;
5. Complete electronic observations/ inspections, issue deficiency notices as required, complete inspection checklists as well as coordinate and review any other required paperwork;
6. Conduct scheduled orientations, safety meetings, complete minutes and conduct follow up as required;
7. Identify deficiencies and report said deficiencies to client;
8. Investigate accidents and provide reports;
9. Must be able to ambulate construction sites and be on feet majority of day;
10. Must be able to lift a minimum 25 lbs. at any time, climb ladders, and walk uneven surfaces.
