They are seeking a talented Content Specialist, Integrated Advertising & Media to join their marketing agency team and help them create bold, strategic, and persuasive messages across all digital and traditional media for their clients. They specialize in three key verticals: healthcare, financial services, and higher education, but we have a variety of clients across other categories. They're looking for a writer who can manage and execute multiple assignments, prioritize workload across various clients, and meet deadlines.

They are seeking a talented Content Specialist, Integrated Advertising & Media to join their marketing agency team and help them create bold, strategic, and persuasive messages across all digital and traditional media for their clients. They specialize in three key verticals: healthcare, financial services, and higher education, but we have a variety of clients across other categories. They're looking for a writer who can manage and execute multiple assignments, prioritize workload across various clients, and meet deadlines.

 

NOTE: This HYBRID opportunity is located at the company's state-of-the-art headquarters in Hauppauge, Suffolk County, Long Island. N.Y. with three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote. This is NOT a fully remote role.

 

 

Only candidates accessible to western Long Island will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Conceives and executes messaging that delivers against creative and strategic briefs while collaborating with creative team members
  • Writes all forms of short and long copy and for all types of media
  • Adapts messaging as needed across various digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, paid search, programmatic channels, landing pages, audio and video, OOH, etc.
  • Immerses and becomes knowledgeable about our client's brand and business
  • Works with the Content Director to foster innovative solutions and professional growth
  • Develops communications that are clear, concise, convincing, and accurate both materially and grammatically
  • Executes and manages multiple assignments and prioritizes workload across various clients and channels
  • Uses Agency project management software to manage workflow
  • Complies with client brand guidelines and quality standards of the agency
  • Builds relationships at the appropriate client level

 

COMMUNICATIONS

 

  • Skilled and strong in all communications, from written work to presentations, both to internal teams and clients
  • Ability to understand and connect to a target audience's needs, emotions, challenges, and desires
  • Adaptable to receiving feedback on drafts and incorporating those edits into revisions


Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three years' experience as a copywriter
  • Agency experience greatly preferred
  • Experience in at least one of our key verticals as described above
  • Experience developing paid digital and website content (beyond blogs)
  • Resourcefulness and decision-making skills
  • Capacity to effectively handle multiple assignments at one time while meeting deadlines
  • Keen eye for detail
