Our client is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to identify and facilitate continuous improvement opportunities, training and workshops driving cultural change by analyzing business data and implementing industry best practices. Act as a change agent within the business to educate and influence Team members on process implementation and improvements. Work with the businesses to identify process opportunities to improve quality, customer service levels, unit cost, safety and compliance. Support lean initiatives in all program areas, focused on process improvement to improve quality and reduce waste with clear measurable outcomes. Leads and facilitates Kaizen events to drive sustainable improvements.

 


Job Description:

Salary : $85000 - $110000

  • Identify and facilitate continuous improvement opportunities, training and workshops driving cultural change by analyzing business data and implementing industry best practices
  • Act as a change agent within the business to educate and influence Team members on process implementation and improvements
  • Work with the businesses to identify process opportunities to improve quality, customer service levels, unit cost, safety and compliance
  • Support lean initiatives in all program areas, focused on process improvement to improve quality and reduce waste with clear measurable outcomes
  • Leads and facilitates Kaizen events to drive sustainable improvements
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineering in Work cell and production line balancing, line layout design, time and motion studies.
  • Develop, deliver and present countermeasure reports that follow the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) methodology.  
  • Develop and conduct compliance audits and drive corresponding actions, ensuring that change is sustainable
  • Develops business case justification for projects and initiatives
  • Leverage resources and share best practices across all programs
  • Tracks and analyzes the CI initiatives
  • Building cultural change throughout the organization
  • Work with customers, suppliers and all levels of management staff
  • Responsible for managing multiple projects at the same time

 



Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering (preferably Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training preferred.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing experience with 3+ years spent in a full-time continuous improvement role
  • Trained in Lean methodologies - 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, Cell balancing, Standard Work, and Mistake-Proofing
  • Proven ability facilitating and sustaining Kaizen events and results
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to drive projects to completion with long-term sustainability.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The CI Manager should possess extensive technical skills and hands-on experience in continuous improvement manufacturing activities.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized with demonstrated ability to work multiple projects concurrently.

Salary Range - $85,000 - $110,000
