Environmental Planner/Scientist

to join their team of top professionals.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking individuals with multi-disciplinary skills in environmental planning, environmental science, SEQRA Environmental Impact Statements, watershed management, and quantitative/qualitative environmental impact analysis.  Work assignments will involve management and development of technical sections for environmental impact analysis, water quality and environmental assessment, permitting, and related projects on Long Island and in the tri-state area.  

Job Requirements:

• Competent writing, research, organization, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro or other graphic programs is desirable.
• Experience with the preparation of EIS and other SEQRA documents.
• Natural resource inventories.
• Watershed management plans.
• More experienced candidates will have experience preparing testimony and presenting at public meetings/hearings.
