Our client is one of the most respected Heavy- Civil Construction companies in the tri-state area. They are looking for an Experienced Estimator to join their team.

Job Description:

• Prepare full buildable estimates with takeoff and all required quotes with guidance.  
• Handle $250 Million in estimates per year.
• Proficient in preparing estimate in at least three (4 ea.) different disciplines: utility, site work and earth work, etc. with a little guidance.
• Handle all unit price, Lump Sum, Best Value, Technical proposal and Design Build bids.
• Follow/ implements company Estimating SOP-Standard Operation Procedure guidelines successfully.
• Bid and close projects independently
• Mentor the junior estimating team as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience- (including some field work experience)
• Positive Attitude
• Detail oriented
• Time management skills
• Organized
• Strong communication skills
• Risk Management ability
• Works well individually and in a team
• Proficient in completing takeoffs.
• Strong computer skills and proficient in pricing/estimating software including HCSS-Advanced.
