Executive Alliance is pleased to represent our client who is a global leader in digital imaging for consumer electronics and medical devices products.

They are seeking a Field Marketing Representative, Video & Photography Products working on a hybrid schedule (3 days on-premise; 2 days remote) out of their North American HQ in Melville, Suffolk County, Long Island, N.Y.

NOTE: This is a hybrid role with 3 days of presence at the company’s HQ in Melville, Long Island, N.Y. This is not a fully remote role.

Only candidates accessible to or willing to relocate to the Long Island area will be considered.

Job Requirements:

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

The ideal representative will interface with photographic and video markets to provide technical and educational support. You will provide support to the sales and marketing departments of the company. You will keep abreast of technology and photography trends which drives the professional photographic market. You will also represent the company at trade shows, the company's Education events and other specialty assigned field events while keeping the Sr. Manager apprised of travel schedule and commitments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 Provide technical and educational support for professional photographers and videographers in all markets.

 Call on professional photographers and videographers, newspapers, agencies and other industry entities providing equipment training, technical assistance and purchase recommendations.

 Create and deliver seminars based on different photo, video, and networking topics and areas of expertise.

 Participate in trade show field events as required.

 Provide technical and educational support to sales and marketing departments.

 Provide company with photographs to be utilized in presentations and printed materials.

 Provide the company with updated information regarding technological advances in photography, computer hardware and software development.

 Provide company with updated information on the field performance of products.

 Continuously research new markets for potential customers.

 Keep Managers advised of schedule and commitments.

 Maximum amount of travel required to fulfill essential functions is up to 70% (includes overnight travel).

ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Maintain relationships with customers and industry professionals.

 All other duties as required or needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 MAC applications

 Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, DaVinci

 Thorough knowledge of the company's photographic and video product line

 Working knowledge of digital photo printing and color management

 Working knowledge of audio and visual equipment

 Excellent presentation and public speaking skills

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Strong organization and time management skills

 Ability to travel up to 70% (includes overnight travel)

 Must possess valid passport for domestic and international travel.

 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 B.A. Photography or Marketing preferred, but not required

 7 + years instructional photographic experience

 5 + years photography experience

 High School Diploma or GED required
