If you are an experienced and successful Inside Business Development Specialist with an interest in the molecular sciences, we want to talk to you! A dynamic and fast-growing manufacturer of products and services for commercial, clinical and academic laboratories needs accomplished inside sales professionals who measure their success by how many solutions they provide to their biomedical clients every day. 


Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with new and existing customers using email, telephone and occasional in-person visits to develop new clients and expand business with current clients  
  • Respond to incoming calls and provide information as needed or redirect / share with appropriate internal department
  • Work with management and marketing teams to identify the most productive sources for leads and share information as appropriate with field sales team
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients and learn their business, their current projects, growth areas and challenges
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and share information with management and marketing teams

 



Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • BS degree in one of the life sciences
  • 2–5 years inside sales experience
  • 1+ years working in medical / biomedical organization
  • Excellent communication skills; the ability to listen, prioritize importance, respond appropriately.   The ability to write clearly and consisely
  • Experience and comfort using on-line platforms and social media
  • Experience using a CRM
