JOB DETAILS

Our client is a well known General Contractor in New York Metropolitan area. They are seeking a Sr. Level Civil Estimator and mid level Estimator with Highway and/or utilities experience.

Job Description:

Mid level Senior Estimator-preferably valuable NYC DDC bid experience if possible:

• Minimum overall experience is around 10 years including field and estimating.
• Ideally, this candidate must have at least 5 + years’ experience in the estimating.
• Must have at least 5 years solid proven heavy civil work estimating experience (in addition to any other experience) particularly in excavation, concrete, structural steel, demolition, utilities.
• Preferably have NYC DDC/ or comparable agency utility estimating experience.
• This person will be responsible for taking care of utility/site work estimates from the DDC and other companies.
• Being capable of doing takeoff and estimating proficiently at least up to $15 Million single bids or equivalent scope and capacity of large bids just by himself or herself.
• Candidate will have experience doing takeoffs and estimating for up to $15 million single bids or equivalent scope and capacity of preparing large bids.

   

   

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred  
• Great communication, coordination and organization skills.
• Local-NY or NJ. No commute problem.
• Must be proficient in using HCSS.
• Team player and being able to get along with people

• Strong References.
