A top Solar Energy Company is looking for a Lead Energy Efficiency Technician to join their growing team.

Job Description:

• Guides technicians in assisting with providing solutions.
• Conducts physical site assessments using a variety of equipment and tools including but not limited to pressure diagnostic equipment, measuring devices, hand tools, various ladder types and sizes, blower door, combustion safety analysis equipment and protective equipment
• Prepare documentation of energy efficiency upgrades for upload to shared database and communicate results to homeowners, supervisors, and EE contractors
• Analyze failures and take corrective action on an as needed basis based on findings and severity of quality infringements. Provide guidance to improve technician performance
• Accomplish energy efficiency results by providing services according to best Home Energy Solutions (HES, HESIE) practices
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyze and resolve quality and customer service problems; identify trends; recommend system improvements

Job Requirements:

• BPI Certification required (Building Analyst & Envelope)
• 2000 hours in home experience
• Building Performance Institute certifications (Envelope and Analyst) or experience with Energy Efficiency is required. DOE Energy Score credential required
• A minimum of one year of experience in a discipline related to construction or building sciences
• Customer service experience required
• Preferred 1 year supervising others
• Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred, as well as a general disposition towards learning technology including the use of online platforms such as but not limited to DOE Energy Score, Dropbox, Salesforce (CRM) on various devices (laptop, tablet, and smart phone)
• Availability to receive customer calls on some evenings and Saturdays.
• Provide and maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen.
