The Manager of ETO Consumables US will be responsible for managing the Engineered to order (ETO) project team.  The ETO team develops engineered to order single use products to provide to our Life Sciences customers. In this key role you will report to the Head of ETO . Ideally, this position will be based in close proximity to our Long Island Headquarters in Bohemia, NY. but we are open to considering candidates based in the Northeast.


Job Description:

    • Responsible for the oversight and development of ETO activities
    • Provide leadership and mentoring of a high performing team (7 professionals)
    • Coordinate activities of the team to ensure that products are designed per established design rules, in alignment with customers requirements, and are delivered timely and in a cost effective manner
    • Work as a key member of transversal projects with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of optimal results
    • Champion continuous improvement of the ETO tools and ETO business process
    • Monitor and provide input in defining KPIs to enhance the activities of the team
    • Provide input for ETO budget
    • Steward teams to ensure they are following best practices
    • Participate in ETO project activities as SME to guide the team
    • Develop product design proposals
    • Generate customer quotations based on product design and costing
    • Oversee and coordinate the manufacturing of prototype products to ensure both performance and manufacturability requirements are met


Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline (for example, engineering in bio process or mechanics)
    • A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
    • Management experience is a plus, but willing to consider candidates with proven leadership ability
    • Understanding of ISO and GMP standards and procedures
    • Biopharma industry knowledge is a plus
    • Position requires some international travel (approximately 4-5 times annually)
