They are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager working on a hybrid schedule (3 days on-premise; 2 days remote) out of their North American HQ in Melville, Suffolk County, Long Island, N.Y.
NOTE: This is a hybrid role with 3 days of presence at the company’s in Melville, Long Island, N.Y. Only candidates accessible or willing to relocate to the Long Island area will be considered.
Overview:
The overall responsibility of the Marketing Communications Manager is to provide result-oriented advertising and marketing activities designed to achieve sustainable business growth through market intelligence, creativity, and strategic vision. Collaborating closely with key cross-functional partners, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing upon the marketing communications strategy to achieve the desired business objectives. Keep direct management apprised of all activity.
Job Requirements:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Advertising
• Manage integrated advertising initiatives including planning, creative and messaging development, execution, agency management, optimization of end-to-end campaigns (must have experience in and understanding of all digital advertising channels, and the role they play at various points in the user journey)
• Manage external Digital Media agency to execute multiple cross-channel campaigns across Digital Display, Social, Video, OTT/CTV and streaming platforms
• Lead project management for all campaign projects from inception to installation and reporting, including timelines and budgets.
• Managing external media and creative agencies to ensure projects are progressing as planned and hitting key objectives
• Using segmentation of target audiences, data, user journey and multiple communications touchpoints, collaborate in creating customized communication strategies
• Define and analyze campaign KPIs to deliver consistent and rigorous measurement of progress to key goals and benchmarks.
• Write creative briefs for all advertising campaigns; coordinate alignment cross-functionally and brief creative teams to ensure everyone is clear on objectives, strategy and campaign requirements
• Updated knowledge of personal privacy limitations
• Partner closely with internal teams including sales and e-Comm to analyze campaign data, glean insights and communicate learnings to broader teams
Influencer Management and Community Building
• Manage, in collaboration with PR agency and Sr. Management, support all influencer and community building initiatives, audience engagement and integrated content campaigns.
• Support Sr Manager in cultivating, planning and managing online and offline events that provide consumer and influencer engagement opportunities (with each other and with the brand and our products), reach new audiences and influencers.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with creators, photographers, and videographers. Retain current influencer base and grow new influencers as evangelists of the brand.
• Manage influencer affiliate program, in partnership with Sr. Manager and E-Comm team
• Work collaboratively to build a full funnel approach with influencers to tell brand stories, drive connection, engagement, and conversation among all our target audiences
• Conduct research and influencer audits, identifying influencers and future collaborations, and track existing partnerships, managing dashboards and deliverables
• Track and analyze performance of influencer outreach, content, and conversion rates to estimate ROI and advise on best strategies. Measure effectiveness by understanding and applying analytical tools to evaluate results. Present learnings to larger internal team
• Recommend and execute strategies that help build a youthful Creator community, lifetime customers and stronger fans of the company’s products and brand.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time which can include overnight stays
ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with PR agency and internal cross-functional teams on strategic communications partnerships for the brand
• Ensure high quality of proposals and presentations to present ideas, plans, as well as analysis of performance and recommendations for optimizing.
• Ability to connect the dots and understand how your role impacts all other company initiatives
• Fulfill company requests for specific reports related to communications activities
• Additional administrative responsibilities such as handling consignment requests, reviewing contracts, write offs and scheduling meetings
• All other duties as required or needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have solid understanding of user journey touchpoints and ability to connect various communications initiatives to achieve specific goals along the journey (i.e., awareness building, consideration, conversion, appreciation, loyalty)
• Passion for digital marketing, 360 marketing campaigns, consumer centric strategies, advertising, creative management and influencer marketing
• Awareness of emerging technologies and platforms and stay current with industry/advertising/cultural trends
• Must understand analytics and how to use data to create actionable insights for the brand
• Superb time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Agency experience, a plus
• Flexible with a proactive and collaborative, roll-up your sleeves approach to the day
• Passion for innovation, technology, creative problem solving, and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent PowerPoint skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strategic self-starter and ability to prioritize various ongoing projects
• Ability to travel on occasion to represent the brand at events and shows and/or manage various offline event
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills; experience working in a complex, dynamic organization and driving collaboration with various key stakeholders.
• Ability to establish trust and credibility, and empower colleagues across the organization
• Highly organized and phenomenal attention to detail with demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills.
• All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years' experience planning and managing advertising campaigns, social media strategy, influencer marketing and customer engagement strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
