Our Client, which has been providing structural engineering, consulting design and management services for more than 25 years is looking for a Mechanical/Civil Engineer with structural engineering experience to join their team in Bridgeport, CT.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Develop mechanical systems for educational, industrial, healthcare, and commercial facilities.

Lead the design development with reports, calculations, drawings, cost estimates, etc.

Design for structural steel, wood framing, concrete, foundations including pile designs.

Travel to   project sites to verify conditions and installation during construction.

Approve submittals and support RFI responses during construction administrations.  

Compensation:  

Salary: $70K - $120K with excellent benefits such as medical, 401K, etc..

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical. or other applicable engineering discipline..
• PE license (CT) or EIT working toward PE license preferred
• 5 years experience of leading project design
• 3 years experience of structural engineering
• Structural Building and Site Planning experience
• Autocad experience
• Experience in private, commercial, industrial, and governmental sectors.
