Our client is one of the most respected Heavy- Civil Construction companies in the tri-state area. They are looking for a Senior Lead Estimator to join their team.

Job Description:

• Leading and pricing any type of heavy civil estimate including bridge work
• Leading others efficiently from the beginning of the estimate to the bid submission including bid submission.  
• Handle over $500 Million in estimates per year.
• Assists the Chief Estimator as needed
• Lead Estimating Department in Chief Estimator’s absence
• Preparation of all unit price, Lump Sum, Best Value, Technical proposal and Design Build bids.
• Follows/ implements company Estimating SOP-Standard Operation Procedure guidelines successfully.
• Consistently mentor the entire Estimating department  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years' experience- (including some field work experience and at least 10 years estimating experience)
• Positive Attitude

• Strong communication skills
• Risk Management ability
• Works well individually and in a team
• Strong Leadership skills
• Strong computer skills and proficient in pricing/estimating software including HCSS-Advanced.
