Large commercial and residential real estate owner/manager seeks experienced Senior Property Accountant to take ownership of Residential portfolio. Base salary commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

• Maintain accounting and analysis for properties including financial reporting, work paper preparation, posting to and reconciling GL and monthly close
• Assist in preparation of annual budget and re-forecasts
• Prepare monthly operating reports including variance explanations.
• Participate in monthly meetings to review and analyze financial results
• Review payables and approve invoices
• Assist with special projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree a must; accounting major preferred

• 4+ years of property accounting

• Yardi a "plus"; strong Excel
