Expanding Nassau County, Long Island real estate firm seeks in-office Senior Property Accountant to support their growing business in all aspects of accounting and analysis for portfolio of Residential properties. Salary range 90-110K depending on experience.

** You must have at least 3 years in property accounting with Co-ops and Condos to be considered **

Job Description:

• Maintain, reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Support budget preparation; analyze variance
• Implement controls and update policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance; review controls and procedures
• Assist with audits and prepare reports for upper management and board
• Special projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree a must; Accounting major preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ property accounting experience with residential properties including Co-ops & Condos
• Solid computer skills including Excel Pivots etc.
