They are seeking an SEO & Digital Account Specialist that will research, plan and deploy search engine, branding and demand generation initiatives, helping shape strategic objectives for the agency's clients. This impactful opportunity reports directly to the agency’s Chief Executive Officer.

 

NOTE: This is a hybrid opportunity located in Melville, NY with an opportunity to become fully remote in the future. Preferred candidates will come from the Long Island, New York area OR the Eastern Time Zone of the US.

Overview:

 

The ideal SEO & Digital Account Specialist should have a high level of expertise in SEO to join the team. This individual will play a pivotal role in the agency, serving as the bridge between our CEO, who leads executive strategy, and our Digital Manager, who oversees project management and account management. The Digital Account Specialist will be responsible for leading the strategic direction for client accounts, with a particular focus on SEO initiatives.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and Digital Manager to develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies for client accounts.
  • Strategies include experience in planning and deploying (but not limited to) Website Design and management, SEO/Content Marketing (blogs and other content), Social Media, and Paid Ads - Google, Facebook, Instagram
  • Lead client meetings to discuss strategy, performance, and recommendations, effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Conduct in-depth SEO research, audits, and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and develop tailored strategies to enhance organic search visibility and performance.
  • Perform keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and phrases, and develop content strategies to optimize for organic search rankings.
  • Oversee the implementation of on-page and off-page SEO tactics, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with client objectives and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

 



Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO strategy and implementation and Website Design (overall process and management).
  • Strategy or Account Management role experience, agency preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO campaigns, with measurable results in organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, tools, and techniques, including but not limited to keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and/or other relevant platforms are a plus.
