Executive Alliance is pleased to represent our client who is a global leader in digital imaging for consumer electronics and medical devices products.

They are seeking a Social Media Community & Influencer Marketing Manager working on a hybrid schedule out of their North American Headquarters in Melville, Long Island, N.Y.

NOTE: This is a hybrid role, with 2 days remote and 3 days of presence at the company’s North American HQ in Melville, N.Y.   Relocation assistance could be available to those willing to relocate to the Long Island/New York metropolitan area.

The overall responsibility of this position is to perform as a valued member of the Marketing Communications Team who is savvy in the digital space (across platforms), social media, influencer and community building, engagement strategies, data-driven marketing and segmentation. Specifically, the position will manage all influencer, seeding and community building initiatives, audience engagement and integrated content campaigns. Responsible for managing influencer affiliate program, work collaboratively to build a full funnel approach with influencers, drive connection and conduct research for future partnerships. Keep management apprised of ongoing activities.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Influencer Management and Community Building

  • Manage, in collaboration with the PR agency, all influencer, seeding and community building initiatives,  audience engagement and integrated content campaigns.
  • In collaboration with agency partner, cultivate, plan and manage online and offline events that provide consumer and influencer engagement opportunities, reach new audiences and influencers.  
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with creators, photographers, and videographers.  Retain current influencer base and grow new influencers as evangelists of the brand.
  • Responsible for managing influencer affiliate program, in partnership with EComm team.
  • Work collaboratively to build a full funnel approach with influencers to tell brand stories, drive connection, engagement, and conversation among all our target audiences.
  • Conduct research and influencer audits, identifying influencers and future collaborations, and track existing partnerships, managing dashboards and deliverables.
  • Track and analyze performance of influencer outreach, content, and conversion rates to estimate ROI and advise on best strategies. Measure effectiveness by understanding and applying analytical tools to evaluate results.
  • Ensure all projects are managed to agreed timeline and budgets.

Segmentation, Data-driven Marketing, Building Loyal Customers

  • Assist in developing and executing a holistic customer experience strategy, collaborating with our marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across customer touch points.  
  • Collaborate with marketing counterpart to generate loyalty and increase consumer lifetime value.
  • Recommend and execute strategies that help build a youthful company Creator community, lifetime customers and stronger company fans through membership and loyalty programs.
  • Using segmentation of target audiences, data, user journey and multiple communications touchpoints, collaborate in creating customized communication strategies

 

 

ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stay up to date with industry emerging trends, influencers, creators, and partners across platforms to make compelling and engaging influencer content. Keep internal teams and management apprised and educated on the constant ecosystem and how it impacts our brand.
  • Partner with PR agency and internal brand sponsorship manager on strategic communications partnerships for the brand.
  • Ensure high quality of proposals and presentations to present ideas, plans, as well as analysis of performance and recommendations for optimizing.  
  • Fulfill corporate requests for specific reports related to communications activities.
  • Additional administrative responsibilities such as handling consignment requests and write offs and scheduling meetings
  • All other duties as required or needed.

                             

QUALIFICATIONS:  

 

  • Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, PowerPoint, Excel, and Social Networking platforms ex: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, Twitch, Reddit, Clubhouse, Discord, Pinterest, Linkedin)
  • Experience in CRM platforms and social media reporting platforms
  • Strong experience using Windows and Mac Platforms
  • Strong understanding of user journey touchpoints and ability to connect various communications initiatives to achieve specific goals along the journey (i.e., awareness building, consideration, conversion, appreciation, loyalty)
  • Passion for influencer marketing & Social media enthusiast (up to date knowledge of digital and pop culture)
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and platforms and stay current with industry/advertising/cultural trends
  • Must understand analytics and how to use data to create actionable insights for the brand
  • Clear understanding of the digital landscape, and how emerging technologies and avenues add value to campaigns
  • Passion for innovation, creative problem solving, and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic self-starter and ability to prioritize many ongoing projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to Travel U.S. domestic and international

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive digital marketing experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years social / digital experience
