Job Description:

Are you looking to take your career to the next level? We are currently searching for an Environmental Project Manager who is a licensed P.E. We seek dynamic technical and leadership skills to work in the real estate development, institutional, and infrastructure market sectors. In this role, you will interact with clients and manage projects from cradle to grave. If you possess an attitude of respect, optimism and positivity and you are motivated to bring a small growing firm to the next level, this opportunity is for you! This is a full-time position located in our Brooklyn office. Our company has established a dominating presence in the Tri-state area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct environmental field observation and testing programs including laboratory test selection, data evaluation, etc.
  • Demonstrate ability to design and deliver proposals and reports with attention to detail of technical aspects pertaining to the projects, based on clients’ goals and objectives, incorporating quality control, proper planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate very strong verbal and written skills.
  • Use your experience in leadership roles to build your own team, demonstrating strong training, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Develop, write, and sign off on all reports.
  • Lead OER meetings on behalf of clients.


Job Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
  • Master of Science in civil or environmental engineering, geology/hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field
  • 5-10+ years’ solid environmental investigation/remediation and compliance experience with New York City E-Designation (OER) and New York State Brownfield Cleanup Programs (BCP)
  • Critical thinking and problem solving to comply with City and State regulations.
  • Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software.
  • OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training
