Job Description:

Our client  is expanding its Water and Wastewater Engineering Division.

They are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Wastewater Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and managing wastewater related engineering projects on Long Island and in the NYC Metro Area. Experience in Nassau and Suffolk Counties is preferred. Typical projects will include sewer collection systems, pumping stations, and wastewater treatment facilities. Work will include preparation of evaluation studies, feasibility studies, engineering design reports, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, forensic investigations, operation and maintenance manuals, and engineering during construction services.  

Job Requirements:

Seeking a self-starting team player with excellent written and verbal communications skills who can successfully handle multiple assignments at the same time. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and a New York State Professional Engineer’s license is required. Individuals must be experienced in the use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Experience with sanitary sewer and wastewater treatment modeling software is a plus. Candidates must have experience in successfully managing projects, interfacing with clients, managing other staff members, tracking project schedules, and tracking budgets for compliance with client and company goals.  

Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Required Experience:  10 plus years
Required Licenses or Certifications:  New York State P.E. License
