Our client in Columbus, OH is currently seeking an experienced Survey Technician to join their team in the analysis and processing of collected field survey data to be utilized in a wide array of engineering related projects, including highway, bridge, utility, and site development.

Survey Technician

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Survey Technician to join their team in the analysis and processing of collected field survey data to be utilized in a wide array of engineering related projects, including highway, bridge, utility, and site development.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently or as part of a team to prepare survey exhibits and base maps for a multitude of various engineering and survey related projects and tasks.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of base maps and survey exhibits utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or Open Roads Designer
• Work with Survey Project Team, including field crews, technicians, and project managers
• Perform courthouse and utility research
• Ability to complete tasks within allotted deadline

Job Requirements:

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years combined field and office experience
• Surveying or civil engineering undergraduate education is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
• Experience with Open Roads Designer is desired, but not required
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
