Job Description:
- Meet or exceed individual and company sales plan targets for revenue in key applications in Lighting, Solar, EV Charging, Storage, and Geothermal activity.
- Manage the sales process following the initial introduction to the client. Work across the organization to facilitate education, feasibility studies, pricing, and any other tasks required to get to a signed contract.
- Partner with business research analyst to fuel prospecting in the market through social media, digital campaigns, and direct outreach.
- Update all client facing activity in Clients CRM to reflect all active opportunities by maturity stage and value to provide a weighted view of activity.
- Meet with Business Development on a weekly basis to review pipeline, client activities and results of prospecting goals for the month.
- Work with clients product support and analysts to tailor proposals to exceed client expectations for financial, operational, and sustainability objectives on projects.
- Meet and engage with internal team members in project management, operational support and field/on site execution members to mobilize formal handoff to the operational team.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to master complex selling environment to address multiple influences and identify key client business requirements.
- Experience and understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability solutions in the commercial, institutional or industrial markets.
- Effective client relationship development skills that enable a clear path to key decision makers.
- Local knowledge that enhances an intentional approach to targeted vertical markets.
- Strong teamwork skills that enable multiple disciplines across Clients to work seamlessly to achieve the desired client outcome.
- Relentless passion to enable clients to achieve their energy efficiency and sustainability objectives.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of work experience in client facing roles in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- A strong desire to learn and contribute to an entrepreneurial team.
- Driven focus on meeting personal business growth objectives.
- Understanding of key building systems and renewable energy space.
- Personal & professional interest in furthering a clean energy future.
- A successful approach to client relationship management.
- Proven track record of onboarding organizations
