Our client is a Luxury Travel Company with over 20 years in the business. They are looking for a Vice President of Sales for their Hotels and Resorts.


Job Description:

 

  • Be the senior-level internal and external advocate for the success of ATC
  • Have a proven track record of delivering strong results through strategic planning and execution of initiatives, including but not limited to marketing and sales initiatives such as persuasive communication (written and oral) and relationship management
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to the executive team (and other stakeholders, as required)
  • Business Building (Efficiency – the bottom line)
    • Assist in the development of 1-year/3-year/5-year strategic plans, providing feedback and insight on new products/services and other opportunities.
      • Identify and grow opportunities within existing and new travel segments.
      • Initiating, develop and grow luxury relationships, increase sales opportunities as well as attain revenue objectives
  • Brand Building (Effectiveness – brand awareness)
    • Represent the company at all industry and internal events.
    • Generating brand awareness through word-of-mouth marketing.
  • Behavior Building (Experience – ongoing stakeholder relationships with the brand)
    • Build loyalty by providing exceptional service and communicate value to stakeholders.
    • Forecast and track key stakeholder metrics through quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Job Requirements:

 

  • Management level experience
  • 5+ years of sales, leadership role
  • Luxury travel industry experience
  • Lanyon knowledge a must
  • Positive attitude
  • Personal initiative and goals
  • Impeccable interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills to build solid professional relationships
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be confident using and learning new software, such as Teams, Sugar, Slack, Zoom, etc.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
